Find out some of the bigger attractions and should not be missed when visit Singapore.
Sentosa Island:
This is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Singapore. This island is built with many entertainment spots and many attractive Events.
-Under water world which has variety of fishes with more then thousands of species of sea animals.
-Dolphin lagoon which is a live show gives entertainment given by Dolphins.
-Light Show which is also called Musical Mountain or laser show. This is performed after 6pm on every day. This show runs on laser on spilling water which would be more attractive and satisfies most of the visitors.
-4D Magix: This is 4D movie, basically we must have watched 3D movie but Sentosa 4D Magix is a 3D movie with more lively special affects which we never predict. The movie lasts about 25-30min.
-Cable Car travel which is a cable car ride to and from sentosa island.
And has some more attractions in Sentosa like Sky and Luge ride, sky tower, Images of Singapore, The Merlion, Butter fly park and Insect Kingdom, Fort siloso Tours, Golf Club and some more.
-The rest are beaches, sentosa has 3 main beaches called Siloso, Palawan and Tanjong Beach which are very good entertaining and pleasant spots of Sentosa. There has some beach resorts inside Sentosa.
It is more economical to purchase packages which covers 2-3 events/entertainments instead of purchasing tickets on individual ones. One day is not enough to cover the whole sentosa island.
Must be able to vist twice or thrice to cover the whole.
How to reach: Get down at Harbour Front either through MRT or Bus. Then board either Sentosa?s train or bus or cable cars to reach to sentosa by purchasing entry ticket and arrive at 'Beach Station' for main entrance.

Raffles Place:
This is the one of the good places to visit in Singapore. Basically it is a commercial place where more tall buildings with unbelievable infrastructure can be found here. Here is so called Merlion statue present which is one of the centre of attractions of Singapore. Here can spend a pleasant evening. Here is also where famous Esplanade theatre present which will be in the shape of Durian fruit.
How to reach: Alight at Raffles place MRT and walk through Fullerton Hotel.
Singapore Zoo:
This is a open zoo type, where can find animals in more spacious and beautified enclosures. This is more entertaiing for both adults and child. Can enjoys shows performed by animals which brings like towards animals. The show by Sealion would be amazing.
How to reach: Get down at Ang Mo Kio MRT, catch a local bus from Bus Interchange to visit Zoo directly. Dedicated Zoo buses from different locations.
Night Safari:
This is adjacent to Singapore Zoo. Here you can have a jungle walk during night. It is opened after 7pm. Can enjoy the thrill in night walk with animals in different look. Can reach through the same way as Singapore Zoo, also through dedicated buses for Night Safari.
Bird's Park:
This is a park for Birds. Can find more species in birds and is very attractive.
How to reach: Get down at Jurong East MRT and walkable distance.
There would be special packages, if purchase can visit Zoo, Night Safari and Birds park OR either of two for more reasonable price. But should visit with in a month.
Chinese and Japanese Garden:
This is a garden with plenty number of trees carved in a different shapes with pleasant Atmosphere. Other interesting spot in this garden is Tortoise museum which can find more species in Tortoises.
How to reach: Get down at Chinese Garden MRT, from where walkable distance.
Snow City:
This is an indoor snow cabin where luggaged with snow maintaining sub-zero temperature. It has slanting snow bed on which one can enjoy by sliding over it.
How to reach: alight at Juroang Town MRT and nearby Singapore Science Centre.
Singapore Flyer:
This a Giant wheel and is the second largest Giant attractive wheel in the world after London. All capsules are very spacious and air-conditioned. It is one of the centre of attractions for Singapore.
How to reach : Located at Marina Bay. Can reach by MRT.
Orchard Road:
It is the main shopping street for Singapore. There has plenty of shopping complexes, restaurants, Hotels etc. This road is being beautifully decorated during Christmas which will be a good attraction during that festive season. The buildings are beautifully decorated with lights, full of colors.
How to reach : Located at Orchard. Can reach by MRT or bus.
Little India:
It is one of the busiest shopping centres in Singapore. Can find more Indian people do shopping here. There has many vegetable shops, provisional stores , Call shops , Hotels etc . One of the biggest shopping mall in Singapore is Mustafa Shopping Mall which is located here. It is the biggest mall which is equipped with all items like more electrical & electronic goods, Gold, Fashion Items, Clothes, Groceries, vegetables, medical clinic, sport items, furniture etc. In one word, One can find & purchase all kinds of things in one spot. It is the only mall in Singapore opens 24 hrs a day. Little India is surrounded with more Indian temples. The other interesting part about Little India is one can find plenty number of Indian and Chinese Restaurants here like Anjappar, Saravan Bhavan, Andhra Curry, Raj, Komalas etc.
Singapore Casino:
This is still under construction and is expected to be finished by 2010. This is expected to be world's most expensive casino complex and will be a one of the major attractions in the world.
Islands in or around Singapore:
There has more than 50 small islands belong to Singapore. Some are much popular where more tourists visit and enjoy their trip. Find below of them.
Kusu Island:
also called Turtle Island for its history. It has Malay Shrine , Chinese Temple and huge Turtle sculpture. How to get there: Have to go in a ferry from Sentosa Ferry Terminal. Can also hire private boats and reach.
Pulau ubin:
one can go for a natural walk or a cycling in this island. It brings an atmosphere of rural life.
How to get there: Have to go in a bum-boat from Changi Ferry Terminal which is at Changi village.

St Johnns Island
is popular for lagoons, trekking trails, soccer and beaches. It is a good picnic spot suitable for a weekend visits. But there is no food for sale on the island.
