Houses or Service apartments in Singapore are being type of 1+1,2+1,3+1 etc. meaning
1+1 = 1 Bedroom + 1 Hall + 1 Kitchen
3-Room or 2+1 or 2+1+1 = 2 Bedroom + 1 Hall + 1 Kitchen
4-Room or 3+1 or 3+1+1 = 3Bedroom + 1 Hall + 1 Kitchen
5-Room or 4+1 or 4+1+1 = usually 3 Bedroom + 1 Hall + 1 Kitchen + Dinning place.
- Usually for houses for rental must have to bear 1 month rent as deposit+ first month rent in advance with an agreement signing to contract for either 6 months, 1 year or 2 years depending on the agreement between owner and tenant and mutual understanding.
- Usually the vacant houses or Houses for sale will be through housing agents. There are many housing agents in Singapore to search for houses and let make deal between the owner and tenants. The housing agents will charge commission for the same from both owner and tenants.
- Usually 1+1/ L- shaped flats are not supposed to sublet as per rule. It is constructed for Senior Citizens and Students only . It is offence if given sublet or to hire for rent. Kinds of flats/apartments:

The tenant who hires the flat need to furnish the house. The procedure is, check the availability at JTC , approach, hire the flat. The tenant who would like to hire a JTC flat must be able to bear 1 month rent as deposit+ first month rent in advance, as there is no agent in between, you can save the agent commission. Executive apartments:
These flats are usually big flats meaning starts with 3+1 type, with more classical look, equipped with more furniture by owners, dining room, balcony, etc. These apartment?s rent would be bit higher in price w.r.t. HDB flats/JTC flats.
Condominums:
